Moving on… As I approach another birthday, I feel blessed to be moving on…
If I believed our culture’s view of aging, I could become shackled by the “number” of years but I choose to be thankful for another chance to be more, give more, help more, and experience more.
Moving on can mean a lot of different things…
A few quotes I found that ring true with me…
We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we are curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. Walt Disney
Never regret, if it is good, its wonderful, if its bad, its experience…Victoria Holt
Moving on doesn’t mean you forget about things, it just means you have to accept (forgive) what happened and continue living (moving on)
There comes a day when you realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world…copied
Don’t let anyone ever dull your sparkle…copied
Along my path I have and will continue to encounter storms…these can be spring rain storms that make all the grasses and flowers bloom and wash the winter away…they can be storms with thunder, lightning, and wind that can cause lots of damage…they can become dangerous, deadly and destructive. But, along the path when calm is restored…there will be sunshine and a rainbow-God’s promise! The storms will not keep me from the sunshine!! I will keep Moving On…!!!
Blessings and hugs…
Philippians 3:12-14New International Version (NIV)
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
