May you have the gladness of Christmas which is hope…
The spirit of Christmas which is peace…
The heart of Christmas which is love…
(Ada V. Hendricks)
My prayer and hope for all reading, is for you and your family to have a very blessed Christmas.
“Christmas is based on an exchange of gifts: the gift of God to man-His Son and the gift of man to God-when we first give ourselves to God..(Vance Havner).”
The true Christmas spirit reminds us of the ultimate gift-God’s offer of salvation, His presence with us. It is good news for all people!
Blessings and hugs…
3 cups fresh cranberries (1 bag)
1 cup sugar (or 1/4 cup Splenda)
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 cup chopped cilantro
1-2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped
Juice of one lime
1 Tablespoon olive oil
Pulse cranberries in food processor with sugar being careful not to over process. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Will keep in refrigerator for several days. Serve with chips or crackers.
New International Version (NIV)
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[a] boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[b] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
